When we develop websites we try to make our websites look as good as possible in older browsers. However not all web designers do this, and often it is the case that they only design for the most recent versions of Firefox and Internet Explorer. So if you have an old browser it may be worth upgrading.
So in order to get the most out of the internet we recommend that you keep your browsers regularly updated. This can often be easily achieved by setting your web browser to automatically update. This way you should receive the latest versions of your browser as they are released.
While upgrading to a new browser, may mean getting use to a different look. There are many advantages which make it worthwhile. Such as:
- New Features,
- Faster browsing,
- Increased security,
- Website appears as the designers planned,
- Up to date technology (which are more robust with less problems).
Which browser should I choose?
There are a large number of browsers out there, each with their own advantages and disadvantage. We personally recommend using Firefox, or Internet explorer. As these are the most common browsers most websites will work best in these.
